Summer Tip – If your Air conditioner is not working, try checking the fuses. Is the air-conditioning disconnect or breaker turned on? If you know how to check the fuses, see if there are any blown. Licensed Contractor

Please ONLY use a contractor who is licensed in HVAC service an Installations. Have them show you a current contractors license and double check the experation date to make sure they are still licensed. This way if anything goes wrong (which we know sometime does) you will have some leverage. If they do not have a current license you have nothing to “hang over there head” sorta speak. Heating and air conditioning equipment can be very complicated to work on, and you diffinately do not want someone who doesnt know what there doing messing with your electrical and gas equipment.

Good Afternoon, here are a couple Cooling tips for summer.

1) check the settings on your thermostat. If you want cooling, make sure the temperature control selector is set below room temperature and the SYSTEM switch is on the COOL or AUTO position. The FAN switch should be set at ON for continous blower operation or AUTO if you want the blower to function only while the unit is operating.

2) Is your furnace plugged in or is the power switch turned on? The air-conditioner needs the furnace to circulate the air.
